Charlie Moser – Speaker Bio
Charlie Moser is a recent graduate of Cornell University with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences and a minor in Anthropology, having studied on the premed track. His love for agriculture began on his family's small beef cattle farm in Montvale, Virginia, and grew through his involvement in 4-H livestock judging and his service as president of Virginia FFA from 2021 to 2022. Traveling the state and connecting with students across urban and rural communities as a youth leader sparked his interest in health care and advocacy.
At Cornell, Charlie became involved with NY FarmNet, which supports farmers and rural families across New York State who are struggling with their mental health. The experience deepened his understanding of the challenges rural communities face, including stigma, poverty, and limited access to care, and strengthened his goal of becoming a rural psychiatrist working to reduce stigma and expand support for farmers and rural communities.
Charlie collaborates closely with Rural Minds and serves on the Rural Youth Mental Wellness Program steering committee, helping shape outreach and programming to support rural youth mental health.
